Biography
Biographie de Garth Greenwell Né à Louisville dans le Kentucky, Garth Greenwell a étudié la musique, la littérature, puis a été chanteur d'opéra avant de se consacrer à l'enseignement. En 2013, après plusieurs années passées à Sofia, il rentre aux Etats-Unis où il intègre le très réputé atelier d'écriture d'Iowa City. Son premier roman intitulé Ce qui t'appartient (Rivages, 2018) est immédiatement considéré comme un "classique" par le New York Times. Son deuxième livre, Pureté, est unanimement acclamé dès sa sortie américaine. Nicolas Richard est traducteur et romancier, lauréat du prix Maurice-Edgar Coindreau en 2013. Il a notamment traduit Hunter S. Thompson, Thomas Pynchon, Mike McCormack ou encore Richard Powers.
