Biographie de Karel Capek Karel ?apek (1890-1938) est l'un des écrivains tchèques les plus importants et les plus lus. Ses romans, brocardant les événements politiques de son époque — la montée du nazisme, la foi dans le progrès —, lui valent de passer les trois dernières années de sa vie dans un village au sud de Prague, où il meurt avant son arrestation planifiée par les nazis.
