Lapincyclope est différent. Il n’a qu’un oeil et il voudrait bien sauter dans son terrier sans se casser les dents... Il fait la rencontre d’un ver, qui n’a pas d’yeux, mais qui sait naviguer dans les trous ! Ensemble, ils découvriront le pouvoir de l’imagination et le fonctionnement de la vision : un peu avec les yeux, beaucoup avec le cerveau, toujours avec le coeur.
Réalisé en collaboration avec les éditions du passage, ce livre jeunesse fait suite à l’exposition de Jonathan Plante présentée à VOX, centre de l’image contemporaine, à Montréal du 23 mars au 4 mai 2013.

Biography

Jonathan Plante vit et travaille à Montréal, où il a obtenu un baccalauréat en études interdisciplinaires de l’Université Concordia. Il oeuvre principalement dans le champ de l’installation multidisciplinaire et étudie la question de la présence par l’exploration des différents états de l’image pendant le passage entre l’oeuvre et sa documentation.
